Monolith VP and Studio Head David Hewett did share that this game will also have the Nemesis System popularized by the Shadows of Mordor series, but how that can be applied in the world of Wonder Woman is still currently unknown. There’s not a lot of details yet on this game, though, apart from it being worked on by the Shadows of War developers Monolith, and that it’s going to be released on next-gen consoles. We don’t get a lot of superhero games with female protagonists, and we can always start out with DC’s iconic Amazoness, Wonder Woman. This one’s an interesting one, and very timely, too. There’s a certain charm in this game that draws you in, even if you know better than to come near anything this horrifying. From the trailer alone, there’s a lot of body horror and gruesome imagery already, yet the game feels very captivating. It’s no PT or Silent Hills, but do not discount the mind of Keiichiro Toyama and the music of Akira Yamaoka from giving us the chills. Slitterheadįrom the original creator of the Silent Hill franchise comes a new horror game. Perhaps with a new publisher, this time in the form of Gearbox, Homeworld 3 would be able to get a lot of attention when it finally launches in Q4 2022. Following up the success of AoE4 with other successful RTS comebacks can help the genre to reemerge to prominence. With the return of Age of Empires 4, interest in RTS games has received a new high. Homeworld has always been one of the more skill-intensive RTS games at the dawn of the RTS generation. The game currently doesn’t have a release date yet, so expect the game to come out no earlier than 2023. With the game being set in the rarely-explored High Republic Era, Eclipse will open a lot of doors for the future of Star Wars games. Developed by Quantic Dreams (Heavy Rain, Detroit: Become Human), Eclipse will focus more on narratives and will likely focus on intrigue and mysteries. Star Wars Eclipse already generated a lot of buzz with a single trailer alone.
